Idea Nine: Church Without God

There are lots of great things about church:

1. singing whether you're a good singer or not.

2. sitting quietly in a group

3. shaking hands with strangers

4. listening to smart people talk about a complex issue

5. people reading aloud.

6. sharing bread and wine

7. doughnuts afterward.

Let's take those things and leave the god stuff behind.

An hour on Sunday mornings... some singing, some meditation, some reading, some sharing of ideas... and then doughnuts.
